Viral Video Award 2010 (engl.)
Welcome to the Viral Video Award 2010!
In the third year we call on people to submit films with viral messages for our online competition. It is part of the 26th International Short Film Festival Berlin and is held and hosted by interfilm Berlin, Zucker.Kommunikation and the Heinrich Boell Foundation.
Three prizes will be awarded:
Jury Award worth € 1.000,- given by the Berliner Landesinitiative ´Project Future´
Audience Award worth € 500,-
Award for Best political Viral with the themes climate, democracy or justice worth € 1000,- given by the Heinrich Boell Foundation
Virals sought!
We are looking for films with a message. All entries should be aiming to communicate either a promotional, ideational, political or original message. They should not be older than two years and should have already been successful at spreading the net via direct url, or at least be on the way to doing just that.
The Competition
Submit virals online from June 7th to Sept. 11th 2010.
The online voting will take place from Oct. 18th to Nov. 18th 2010 on this website (www.viralvideoaward.com).
In addition to the audience award a jury decides on the best and the best political viral.
The films of competition will be shown at the 26th International Short Film Festival Berlin – 16th to 21st of November 2010 – on screen. The award ceremony will take place during the festival.
